Hamas terrorists forced 26-year-old Israeli hostage Noa Argamani to reveal in a pre-recorded video that fellow captives Yossi Sharabi and Itai Svirsky were killed in captivity. The video released by the terrorist group on social media was termed as ‘sick propaganda video’ by Israeli authorities who harshly criticised the terrorist group for mocking the plight of those whose loved ones are among the 132 people being held captive in Gaza.

Argamani, who was kidnapped from the Supernova Music Festival, has appeared in three Hamas video clips. The latest video where she featured she is seen urging the Israeli government to not bomb Gaza and is seen ‘condemning’ Israeli airstrikes and ‘accusing’ the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) of killing those held hostage.
“It was bombed by an IDF airstrike, an F16 fighter jet. Three rockets were fired. Two of the rockets exploded, and the other didn’t. We were in the building with Al Qassam soldiers and three hostages: Myself-Noa Argamani, Itai Svirsky, and Yossef Sharabi,” Argamani said.

In an extended version of the video, bloodied corpses – believed to be dead bodies of Sharabi and Svirsky – were filmed being put into body bags. The images of the corpses are yet to be officially verified.
Argamani, Sharabi and Svirsky were initially seen alive in an undated video released by Hamas on Sunday. In the end of the video, Hamas said that it would reveal the ‘fate’ of those filmed later.
The IDF spokesperson rear admiral Daniel Hagari said the video was staged and a ‘lie’. “Itay was not killed by our forces. This is a Hamas lie. The building where they were held was not a target and was not attacked by our forces,” Hagari was quoted as saying by The Times of Israel.
Hagari, however, admitted that the IDF carried out strikes near the area where the hostages were being held and acknowledged that the action may have put their lives in danger.
Hamas Game
Hamas indulged social media subscribers in a ‘game’ before revealing the ‘deaths’ of two hostages. In a teaser-like video, it asked the viewers of the video to opine on whether they should kill the three hostages.
The footage aired on Monday asked viewers: “What do you think?”
The 34-second clip opened with a question mark which dangled against a blood-red background featuring the photos of the three hostages. Then the terror group gave three options in English, Arabic and Hebrew: “all three are killed”; “some are killed, some are injured,” or all three are “still alive.
It ended the video with a chyron saying: “Tonight we will inform you of their fate.”
Hamas later shared another video where they forced Noa Argamani to reveal that the two captives who appeared alongside her in the video were killed allegedly in IDF strikes.
