According to a statement from the military?s General Staff, the first Il-76 heavy transport plane was shot down near Vasylkiv, a city 25 miles south of Kyiv. The Russian military has not commented on either incident so far, and the reports could not be immediately verified.
This is the second time the Ukrainian president has given a stern reply. A day ago, Zelenskyy said the world was still just observing the events in Ukraine from a distance. In a Facebook video, he said, ?This morning, we are defending our country alone. Just like yesterday, the most powerful country in the world looked on from a distance.?
