'Stop Using Your Children as an Excuse': CM Punk Delivers Brutal Message to Fans; Hints at Heel Turn
CM Punk was not pleased with fans repeatedly following him around at the airport and his statement could suggest a possible heel turn on the cards.

WWE superstar CM Punk has issued a statement on social media asking fans to respect his privacy. The Second City Saint has been one of the leading storyline characters in the WWE ever since his return to the company last year. Despite coming back to live television, Punk remains one of the stars who prefer leading a private life outside of work.

Reiterating that the Chicago-born wrestler has now delivered a gentle reminder to his fans urging them to respect certain boundaries. In a fairly long request to the WWE universe on his Instagram Story, Punk wrote, “Hey guys! Love y’all, but friendly reminder to respect privacy and boundaries. Airports are not a meet and greet.”

CM Punk further talked about how he had to endure several instances of people following him around airports which needs to stop. He also hit back at fans who try to use their children as an excuse to bother stars. Something that could suggest that a heel turn is on the cards for Punk.

“ If I have to ask you to please stop following me multiple times you have crossed a line. Please stop this. Thank you. (and stop using your children as a shield or an excuse),” he wrote.

CM Punk returned to the WWE after more than a decade during the 2024 Survivor Series last year. Since his arrival, the Cult of Personality has been involved in a bitter feud with co-wrestler Drew McIntyre.

While the two stars have had their differences, both have voiced their discontentment in meeting fans at the airport. Earlier this year, the Scotsman was asked about his thoughts on an action figure of his on X.

Responding to the post, McIntyre wrote, “They look great when they’re not shoved under my nose at 5 am in the airport.” The Scottish Terminator made it abundantly clear how he didn’t prefer fans approaching him while travelling.

Speaking of Drew McIntyre and CM Punk’s ongoing rivalry, the duo are set to face each other once again at WWE Bad Blood.

During the September 9 episode of RAW, McIntyre addressed the fans talking about how he and Punk were done after their Strap Match at Bash in Berlin 2024. However, brand manager Nick Aldis came out to reveal that they would square off for a third time in a Hell in a Cell match at the upcoming premium live event.

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have both won a match in their ongoing feud. It remains to be seen who comes out on top in the upcoming clash.
