The leading carrier Air India Express has been expanding its network, providing a seamless flying expirence to passengers. Recently, the airline has added Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior to its route, providing direct flight options from the city, and connecting multiple stations.
As per the details shared by Air India Express, the inaugural flight, which was carrying 155 passengers, departed from Gwalior to Hyderabad Airport around 17:20 hours.
Air India Express Direct Flight on Gwalior-Hyderabad Route
To make it more special during the festive season, all the flyers on board were treated with specially curated MasterChef dessert Sondesh Tiramisu. The airline also informed that from now onwards, interested passengers will be able to book a direct flight from Gwalior-Hyderabad from its official webiste. The same also can be booked from any third-party portal as well.
Air India Express Connects Gwalior With Other Routes
The airline will also connect Gwalior with other routes as well. The list includes Bengaluru, Amritsar, Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, and Kolkata, with one-stop flight options.

Sharing the view about the newly added route, Managing Director of Air India Express, Aloke Singh said, “After successfully establishing connections between Indore and Dubai and Sharjah, we look forward to expanding our presence to Gwalior, making it our second station in Madhya Pradesh.”
