Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express Causes Timing Changes For Multiple Trains In UP

The launch of the 22490/22489 Meerut City – Lucknow Charbagh – Meerut City Vande Bharat Express has resulted in changed train timings on various routes, according to Indian Railways.

These changes take effect today, September 5. Uttar Pradesh recently welcomed the 11th Vande Bharat Express, connecting Meerut to state capital Lucknow. On August 31, the train made its debut journey between the two cities.

Designated as 22490/22489, the train left Meerut City at 6:35 am and arrived in Lucknow at 1:45 pm, passing through Moradabad and Bareilly. The train will stop for five minutes at Moradabad Junction at 8:35 am and two minutes at Bareilly Junction at 9:56 am.

On the return route, the train would leave Charbagh Railway Station at 2:45 pm, arriving at Bareilly Junction at 6:02 pm, Moradabad Junction at 7:32 pm, and Meerut City at 10 pm. The train will run six days a week, excluding Tuesday, and will feature eight coach configurations.

Prayagraj Sangam – Saharanpur Nauchandi Express (12442)

Starting today, September 5, 2024:

• Saharanpur: Arrival time changed from 10:40 AM to 11:05 AM.
• Deoband: Changed from 10:09/10:11 AM to 10:34/10:36 AM.
• Muzaffarnagar: Updated from 09:55/09:57 to 10:20/10:22 AM.
• Khatauli: Updated from 09:40/09:42 AM to 10:04/10:06 AM.
• Meerut Cantt: Revised between 08:55/08:57 AM and 09:20/09:22 AM.
• Meerut City: Departure time changed from 08:45 AM to 09:10 AM.

Meerut City – Lucknow Rajya Rani Express (12244)

Starting today, September 5, 2024:

• Meerut City: Departure time changed from 06:40 to 07:05 AM.
• Hapur: Updated from 07:15/07:17 until 07:36/07:38 AM.
• Amroha: Updated from 08:00/08:02 until 08:27/08:29 AM.
• Moradabad: Revised between 08:36/08:38 AM and 09:03/09:05 AM.
• Rampur: Revised between 09:01/09:03 AM and 09:28/09:30 AM.

Lucknow – Meerut City Rajya Rani Express (12243)
