Mini, a brand owned by BMW, is gearing up to launch the 2024 new-generation Cooper S and electric version of Countryman in India. The launch date has been set for July 24. The brand has already confirmed the news by circulating an official invite.
Talking about the upcoming new-gen Mini Cooper first. Most of the details about the model have been revealed on the internet, all thanks to its global debut last year.
All About 2024 Mini Cooper
It has been reported that the Cooper will arrive in two trims – Cooper C and Cooper S trims. The former will be powered by an impressive 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a maximum power of 201 BHP, while the latter will use 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol unit.

When it comes to the EV, it will be offered in two trims – Cooper E’ and Cooper SE, featuring 40.7 kWh and 54.2 kWh battery setup respectively. As far as the battery-powered Mini Countryman is concerned, it will also hit the market in two variants named E and SE ALL4.
2024 E-Mini Countryman
It has been informed that the above-mentioned trim of the Mini Countryman will be offered with a 64.7 kWh battery pack. The base variant E will get a single electric motor, which will produce a maximum of 204 BHP and 250 Nm of peak torque, while the top offering SE will get dual electric motors that generate a robust 313 BHP and 493 Nm.
Range
Both the trims will provide an impressive range of 461 km and 433 km on a single charge respectively. The EV will share its underpinnings with the company’s hot-selling product iX1.
