Yamaha is gearing up for a grand launch as it confirms the arrival of the much-anticipated R3 and MT-03 on December 15.
Furthermore, the deliveries of both bikes will begin by the end of the month.
The buzz around Yamaha’s plan to reintroduce the R3 and welcome the MT-03 has been growing, creating a ripple of anticipation. The incredible bikes were first encountered at the Madras International Circuit in July. The thrill continued at the Indian MotoGP round, where whispers turned into reality – these powerhouses are gearing up for a December debut. The excitement level is off the charts as the official launch date has been announced.
Post the grand launch on December 15, the bikes will hit the streets in over 100 cities nationwide. Besides this, these high-octane models won’t be available just anywhere. Yamaha is taking an exclusive route, choosing to sell the R3 and MT-03 through select Blue Square dealers across the country.
The iconic fully faired YZF-R3 is making a successful return to the Indian roads, taking us back to the BS4 era glory. And making its debut on Indian soil is its edgy, naked counterpart, the MT-03. Both bikes share the same 321cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 42 bhp and 29.5 Nm of torque, snugly seated in a diamond-type frame. While the previous R3 boasted a conventional telescopic fork, this time, both bikes flaunt an upgraded upside-down fork coupled with a rear monoshock.
