Actor Kiccha Sudeep is set to host the upcoming season of the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada. The tenth season of the show is expected to premiere sometime soon. This comes after Colors Kannada shared the promo on social media. In the promo, Kiccha Sudeep can be seen playing chess. In the backdrop, we can see the city people prepping for a celebration or festival. After a few seconds, Kiccha Sudeep walks towards the window to take a look outside. A billboard with red cloth can be seen at a distance, which unveils the announcement of the upcoming season. Citizens can be seen celebrating the announcement with firecrackers. “Here is the reason for the town festival; HAPPY ‘BIGG BOSS KANNADA’ tenth season is starting!” the caption reads.
The previous season of Bigg Boss Kannada premiered on September 24, 2022, and this season is also expected to happen around the same time. The last season enjoyed a successful run of 100 days and the season 9 trophy was lifted by actor RJ Roopesh Shetty.
On Thursday, another Bigg Boss franchise promo was released. Bigg Boss Hindi season 17, hosted by actor Salman Khan, was announced. It promises to be filled with drama and various twists.
The promo opens with Salman Khan saying, “Ab Tak Sirf Aapne Bigg Boss Ki Aankh Dekhi Hai. Ab dikhenge Bigg Boss ke teen avatar, Dil, Dimag Hi Dimag Aur Dum. Abhi ke liye itna hi. Promo hua khatam (Till now you have seen the eyes of Bigg Boss, now you will see three more avatars of Bigg Boss – Heart, Mind and Strength. That is for now, the promo ends here).”
There have been reports that the upcoming season will bring back ex-contestants, which will add more drama to the show.
Talking about the theme of the season, Salman Khan said in an interview, “This year, Bigg Boss is all about Dil Dimag aur Dum, and it will not be the same for every housemate.” He also added that the new season has elevated to new heights, as it explores the complex maze of human emotions. “Within these walls, every twist is a lesson, and every task is a test. It’s going to be a thrilling ride to see how hearts beat, minds strategise, and excitement reaches its peak,” he concluded.
Bigg Boss Hindi season 17 is expected to be telecast from mid-October. The show’s makers are in talks with celebrities from various fields including popular YouTubers. The rumoured list includes names such as Sumedh Mudgalkar, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Sangita Ghosh, Twinkle Arora, Samarth Jurel, Isha Malviya, Alice Kaushik and Kanwar Dhillon. Notably, well-known YouTubers like Sourav Joshi, Anurag Doval, and Harsh Beniwal are also reportedly being considered. It also said that Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain will be also part of the show.
