The team has decided to move their release date from September 15 to a new date for the convenience of both the audience and the film.

Hombale Film’s Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel and featuring Prabhas, was slated to release on September 28. While no official confirmation has been issued, the industry buzz suggests a possible postponement of this big-budget starrer. In a related move, the team behind the Telugu movie Skanda – The Attacker rescheduled its release, shifting from September 15 to coincide with September 28.

The Skanda team has officially announced that their movie is set to hit theatres on September 28. They also mentioned the reason behind the move. Releasing on a Thursday, especially with the advantage of an extended weekend, is their strategy, and they aim to make the most of the holiday on October 2, which is Gandhi Jayanthi.

Skanda marks a significant milestone for Ram Pothineni, being reported as his most expensive film to date. With Thaman S composing the music and Santosh Detake handling the cinematography, the film will be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi apart from Telugu. The star-studded cast includes Saiee Manjrekar, Srikanth, Gouthami, and Prince, adding to the movie’s appeal.

The trailer opens with a spectacular introduction of Ram Pothineni, portraying him as a charismatic mass hero who confidently delivers impactful punchlines. He showcases his unbeatable strength by taking on henchmen and sending them soaring through the air. Pothineni’s character exudes sheer power throughout the 2-minute trailer, characterized by his rugged appearance. Additionally, the trailer offers a peek into intense family conflicts and includes moments of romance with Sreeleela, who plays the female lead in Skanda, featuring some flirtatious interactions between the two.

According to reports, Ram Pothineni takes on the role of a young man hailing from Telangana. The film promises grand visuals, meticulously choreographed slow-motion action sequences, explosive moments, intense fights, and Pothineni’s fearless and captivating presence, making it an appealing choice for family entertainment.

The trailer keeps viewers on the edge of their seats and concludes with Pothineni engaging in a ruthless rampage, wielding daggers and targeting the apparent villains by stabbing them in the chest. Notably, Telugu actor Prince Cecil assumes the role of the primary antagonist in Skanda, accompanied by other prominent figures from the Telugu film industry.
