Fighter: Bipasha Basu Praises Karan Singh Grover's Act, Says Siddharth Anand Is 'At The Top Of His Game'

Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, released yesterday, received rave reviews from fans, critics, and the fraternity. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, while Karan Singh Grover plays a pivotal role in the film. Karan’s wife, Bipasha,  took to her social media handle and shared a heartwarming post cheering for him and for the entire team.

Sharing a selfie with Karan from the theatres, she wrote, “Fighter What a film Patriotism plus a visual delight plus great characters plus emotions galore ❤️Just fabulous ❤️Loveddddd every bit of the film. Meanwhile, as per the Sacnilk report, the early estimates reveal Fighter has collected Rs 22 crores across languages. The film witnessed the most occupancies in the evening and night shows, at 21.94% and 35.75%, respectively.

Fighter is expected to bring in more audience over the extended weekend. The film has received good reviews. News18 gave the film a 4-star rating and said, “Phenomenally entertaining and consistently engaging, Fighter, for all the derivative genre components it compiles, is an action entertainer that crackles with energy.”

“Like the quintessential entertainer, Fighter serves up a little bit of everything in its narrative—action, drama, music, romance, and even emotions. The screenplay makes room for every commercial movie element. Fighter is a perfect popcorn entertainment thriller that plays to the gallery and lives up to the hype,” the review added.

Fighter has a run time of 2 hours and 46 minutes. The Central Board of Film Certification has also granted it a U/A certification for the film. The film also stars Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Talat Aziz, Pradum Shukla, and Pradum Jaykar in pivotal roles. The film marks Hrithik and Deepika’s third film with Siddharth Anand. Hrithik previously worked with the filmmaker on Bang Bang and War. Deepika had worked with him in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Pathaan.
