The trailer of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is finally here. Initially slated for October 2023, then pushed to December 7, the film has now found its spot in Valentine’s Week. Earlier, the first look of the film featured Shahid and Kriti in a sizzling pose on a bike, set against a stunning sunset. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar, this marks the first on-screen collaboration for Shahid and Kriti.
Kriti and Shahid attended the trailer launch looking their best. Kriti slipped into a strapless back, asymmetrical dress with ruched detailing. Shahid looked sporty in a leather jacket and denims.
At the trailer launch producer, Dinesh Vijan, speaking of Shahid and Kriti, undeniable chemistry in the film, asked Shahid “did you ever want a robot? to this, Shahid jokingly said “If it looks like Kriti, I would definitely think about it.” Kriti said, “Honestly, main aj night shoot karke aayi hoon, bina soye, flight leke, so I am feeling like a robot who is operating on 30% battery!” Shahid misheard this I thought Kriti said night suit. He asked in disbelief, ”Kya? Main night suit pahenke aayi hoon?” Kriti promptly corrected him.”
The trailer video begins with romantic scenes featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, where both are seen flirting with each other. However, in the next scene, Shahid introduces her to his family, unaware that Kriti is a robot and the full form of her name, Sifra. As the trailer progresses, one can see she has adapted to the family quite well until one night when she suddenly shuts down! Shahid’s aunt, Dimple Kapadia, informs him that her battery is dead, and she is in charging mode, leaving Shahid shocked.
It was only last week that the title of the film was released. Production house Maddock Films took to Instagram to share the news, saying, “Mark your calendars – Valentine Week! Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan present an untitled film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, set to release on February 9, 2024.”
