Bigg Boss Tamil is back with its 7th season, with superstar Kamal Haasan as its host. This year, a total of 18 contestants have entered the show — ranging from actors, social media influencers, models to choreographers. The show premiered on October 1 on Star Vijay TV. The Bigg Boss house has been divided into two parts. Apart from the main Bigg Boss house, the makers have also introduced a Small house. In the Small house, contestants are supposed to do only cleaning and cooking.
They are not allowed to participate in any tasks. Among all the contestants, the one who is making waves on social media after his entry into the show is Tamil writer Bava Chelladurai. While introducing the contestants on the inaugural episode of the show, Kamal Haasan gave a grand welcome to this writer. Many viewers were unaware of who he was. Now, Bava Chelladurai has become the talk of the town. Unfortunately, he recently exited the show due to health reasons. This came as a shock to his fans.
Bava Chelladurai is a poet, storyteller, orator, actor and farmer. He was born in Tiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu. He voluntarily retired from the post of Junior Officer in the Power Board. He married the love of life, KV Shaylaja, whom he met at an art and literature festival held in Tiruvannamalai. He is also one of the most renowned writers of Tamil literature.
Bava Chelladurai has published numerous books and held many positions in the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers Association. Bava is known for his roles in movies like Jai Bhim, Peranbu and Vendhu Thanindathu Kaadu.
During his early days, Bava Chelladurai used to narrate stories in front of 50 people. Now, in Tiruvannamalai, the writer recites stories in front of 500 people. His family members usually upload videos from these events. Bava Chelladurai gained fame through his stint in the Bigg Boss Tamil reality show. He was nominated and was currently spending time in the Small Bigg Boss house, before quitting the show. Bava Chelladurai was also the highest-paid contestant on the show.
