Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten ton in the third Test against England at Rajkot on Saturday to propel India to a score of 196 runs for the loss of two wickets in the second innings at stumps on Day 3.
Jaiswal made a scintillating 104 runs off just 133 deliveries before retiring hurt following what looked like spasms in his lower back as the hosts took their lead over the tourists to 322 runs after bundling the English batting order for 319 runs in the first innings.
Former players and fans took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to laud the young opener on his incredible effort.
Former team India opener Virender Sehwag shared a post that read, “Back-to-back century for Yashasvi Jaiswal. Treating Spinners the way they should be treated. De dana dan”
