MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja’s on-field chemistry has done wonders for the Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings over the years. While Dhoni’s outing in competitive cricket has been limited to the Indian Premier League (IPL) only in recent times, Jadeja has kept on exhibiting his prowess in both domestic and international tournaments.
Jadeja and Dhoni’s off-field camaraderie recently triggered a massive chatter on social media. It was the official social media handle of CSK that shared an edited picture of Dhoni and Jadeja sharing a frame. In the post, Jadeja can be seen clicking a selfie with the legendary India skipper standing in the background.
“Imagine Thala & Thalapathy in this field together,” read the post shared by the Chennai-based franchise across all social media platforms.

Ravindra Jadeja, along with Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik, was ruled out from the upcoming first round of Duleep Trophy 2024.
“Both Siraj and Malik are suffering from an illness and are not expected to be fit in time for their Duleep Trophy fixtures,” read a statement shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
No replacement has yet been announced for Jadeja. The competition is scheduled to start on September 5, in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh and M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Earlier this year, Ravindra Jadeja announced his retirement from T20I cricket. The star all-rounder announced his retirement following India’s triumph at the T20 World Cup. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is continuing to ply his trade for CSK in the IPL. With five IPL titles under his belt, Dhoni is one of the most successful leaders in the history of the competition.
