Team India posted a 2-0 win over visiting Bangladesh in the home Test series on Tuesday with a thumping win at the Green Park in Kanpur against the Bangla Tigers as hosts registered a 7-wicket win.
The home side has picked up the lead with a 280-run win in the opening game of the series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and completed the whitewash at Kanpur giving the new Indian head coach his first Test series win at the helm of the side.

India beat the clock at Kanpur to wrap up the series despite nearly two days of rain-forced suspensions as they cleaned out Bangladesh for 233 runs in the first innings before replying with 285 for the loss of nine wickets in the first half before declaration.
India proceeded to bundle out Bangladesh for 146 runs in the second innings in quick fashion before chasing down the low 95-run target in stunning fashion before the conclusion of the final day’s play.
Star seamer Jasprit Bumrah spearheaded the decimation of the Bangladesh batting order with a three-wicket haul in the first before he replicated his showing in the second to leave the visitors’ batting order in tatters.
Mominul Haque played a lone-ranger innings of an unbeaten 107 runs in the first innings. Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul in the first innings, before the former notched up another fifty in the second innings as he brought India inches to the target.
Ravichandran Ashwin, who produced a spectacular ton and a six-wicket haul in the first game in front of his home crowd, also came up with a fine showing with the ball at Kanpur to collect the man of the series award.
