Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared images from his recent holiday during his time away from the field.
The 30-year-old is currently on vacation and hasn’t featured in Indian colours since the landmark World Cup triumph, which earned the respect of the countrymen.
Memorably, Hardik was hailed and lauded during the team’s felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede on their triumphant return from the USA as the crowd that once boo-ed and whistled at him following a captaincy change in the IPL side Mumbai Indians.
Hardik replaced fan favourite and successful MI skipper Rohit at the helm of the team in a disastrous campaign for the Paltan, which resulted in the city’s faithful bagging on the all-rounder.
However, the maverick star turned the public tide in his favour with his performances for the men in blue on the international stage an the nation was back on his side.
Pandya came up big to help India clinch the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and the Caribbean to bring an end to a trophy drought in fine fashion as the men in blue took the top prize on North American soil under the leadership of skipper Rohit Sharma.
The triumph also proved to be a fitting swansong for Indian batting legend and former coach Rahul Dravid, who stepped down from his role as the head coach following the T20 WC victory.
Pandya also recently announced his separation from his partner of 4 years Natasha Stankovic in July of 2024. The couple have a son together, Agasthya, who is currently with his mother Stankovic in her hometown in Serbia.
