The controversial dismissal of Rajasthan Royals skipper, Sanju Samson was something that grabbed the attention of the fans on the ground as well as on social media. One among those who had an animated reaction following the on-field drama was that of the Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal who was present at the ground.
Drama ensued at the 16th over when Sanju Samson who was on 86 clobbered a fuller delivery by Mukesh Kumar towards the long-on region. But Shai Hope who was fielding there seemingly took the catch while being close to the boundary ropes.
When checked by the third-umpires, one of the replays showed that he was close to the ropes but another angle had shown that he was not touching the boundary lines which meant his dismissal was legal and not a six.
