Mumbai’s Marine Drive was packed as fans celebrated Rohit Sharma-led Team India’s world cup triumph during the Victory Parade on Thursday. Fans turned up in huge numberrs to show their love for the cricketers.
While the evening was quite eventful, the players were equally excited to greet their fans and celebrate their success.

A clip featuring India’s star allrounder Hardik Pandya and wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has surfaced online. The video shows their ‘bromance’ following the world cup final.
Samson gatecrashed Pandya’s interview post India’s victory over South Africa in the final at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
“India has given a lot to world cricket. We were just giving it away all this time, and now it was time to take it back. So cricket has given it back to us, and I think it was meant to come back to us in Barbados, and it can’t be more special than this,” Samson said.

India’s Victory Parade
From Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma dancing to the beats of dhol to players singing ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ in unison with the fans, it was a memorable day for cricket fans in India.
The Indian cricketers were part of an open-bus parade through Marine Drive leading to the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Thursday evening.
Coach Rahul Dravid along with captain Rohit, Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and others were seen celebrating the win with the fans.
Later, they were felicitated by the BCCI.
Prior to that, the players also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi after landing in India early Thursday. PM Modi reportedly asked the players their experiences of the world cup final.
Later, BCCI president Roger Binny and secretary Jay Shah presented PM Modi with a customised Indian team jersey.
India are the first team in history to win a T20 World Cup unbeaten.
