The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has declared the Group 2 preliminary screening test results 2024. Those who took the exam can check the results on the official website at psc.ap.gov.in. The commission has released the result in a PDF format containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. APPSC has also released a list of candidates who have been rejected under tampering, multiple booklet series encoded and no booklet series encoded in the answer sheet (OMR).

Applicants who will clear the prelims exam (objective-type) will be qualified to take the mains Exam. Candidates will be selected for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) depending upon their performance in the main written test. The mains examination will be held on July 28.

APPSC Group 2 Exam: How to check the result?

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission at psc.ap.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the AAPSC Group 2 Results link on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen. It will contain the PDF files of the list of both provisionally qualified and rejected candidates.

Step 4: Click on the relevant link.

Step 5: The APPSC Group 2 result containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Check for your roll number.

Step 7: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

The exam was held on February 25 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. As per the commission, around 4.8 lakh students registered for the exam out of which 4.6 lakh downloaded the admit cards and 4.04 lakh appeared for the exam. The overall attendance mark was 87.17 per cent.

The exam was conducted at 1327 venues in 24 districts across Andhra Pradesh. The APPSC conducted the exam on General Studies and Mental Ability. This year a new subject, Social Science, was also added by the commission. The exam was conducted for a total of 150 marks.
