The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) application correction window today, April 8. Candidates can edit the details which they filled in on the registration form earlier through the correction window, at the official website, ctet.nic.in.

The CTET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on July 7 this year. The CTET 2024 exam will be conducted at 136 locations in the country in 20 languages. As per the examination timetable, the Paper 1 exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm while Paper 2 will be conducted from 9:30 am to noon.

All the candidates appearing for the CTET 2024 exam will be able to edit the following details in the registration forms:

1. Candidate’s Name

2. Gender

3. Father’s Name

4. Mother’s Name

5. D.O.B (Date of Birth)

6. Nationality

7. Address

8. Mobile Number

9. Category

10. Differently-abled category

11. Employment Details

12. Paper opted

13. Subject for Paper 2

14. Language 1 and Language 2 opted

15. Name of the Institution

16. Preference for Exam Centre.

CTET 2024 Application Correction Window: How to Edit?

Step 1: Go to the official website of CTET

Step 2: On the homepage, log in to the application correction portal with your required credentials.

Step 3: Once logged in, make all necessary changes to the CTET 2024 application form.

Step 4: Submit the corrected application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

The exam is conducted every year to determine candidate’s eligibility for appointment as teachers in Central Government Schools. CTET 2024 comprises two papers: Paper 1 for Class 1 to Class 5 teachers; and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8 teachers. Both papers will have a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.

There will be no revaluation or re-checking of the final results which are once out. As per the CBSE CTET information bulletin, no correspondence will be entertained in this matter.  The passing marks for CTET 2024 differ based on categories. For general category candidates, the passing marks are 90 out of 150, however for the SC/ST and OBC category candidates the passing marks are 82 out of 150.
