CUET UG 2024: Once out, candidates can access the application forms and the detailed notification online through the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate courses (CUET UG) 2024 soon. As per media reports, the NTA will release the CUET UG application form today, February 27. Once out, candidates can access the application forms and the detailed notification online through the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

The NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2024 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 15 to May 31. Over 250 universities, including central, state, private, and deemed institutions, will accept candidates based on their performance in the CUET UG examination.

The CUET UG 2024 exam will be held in hybrid mode. With this, candidates from rural areas will have the facility to take the exam close to home. The CUET UG exam will be conducted daily in 3 shifts: 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2 pm, and 4 pm to 5.30 pm. The exam will be held online in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Odia, Malayalam, Kannada, and Urdu.

CUET UG 2024: Educational Qualification

To be eligible to participate in the CUET UG 2024, candidates must have completed their class 12 level of study or are preparing for upcoming class 12 exams in 2024. To qualify for CUET, general category applicants need to have achieved a minimum of 50 percent marks in their Class 12 examination and 45 percent for the Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.

CUET UG 2024 Registration: Documents Needed

During the application process, applicants must upload formal photographs of themselves and scanned copies of their signatures in the mentioned size and format. It’s important to note that if either the photograph or signature is unclear or unidentifiable, the application form will be rejected without the chance for correction or amendment.

This year, candidates will be able to choose six subjects, unlike last year when candidates were allowed to choose 10 subjects. However, most of the candidates were not choosing the full 10 options and now by reducing the number of subjects on the test paper, the allotment of exam centres will be easier.
