Thousands of students aspire to pursue their B.Ed degree from Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University. In a recent development, the university has reportedly started the application process for admission to the B.Ed course. It is said that this course is one of the most demanding courses of the university. The last date to apply for this course is October 11. Candidates who wish to apply for the course are advised to complete their application process well before the last date.
Fees and Eligibility Criteria:
- The total fee for the B.Ed course is Rs 30,000. Candidates applying have to pay a registration fee of Rs 800.
- To be eligible for the course, candidates must have passed UG or PG with 50 per cent marks.
- Candidates who want to pursue engineering or related courses should have at least 55 per cent marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination.
- Apart from B.Ed, other NCTE courses that are offered by the University include M.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, B.A.B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed, B.L.Ed and part-time B.Ed programs.
Selection Process:
- The entrance examination for the B.Ed course is set to be held on October 24. Information about the exam centres will be provided to the students online.
- The counselling process will take place after the results of the entrance examination are declared. The counselling process for admission to NCTE courses has also been resumed by the Department of Higher Education.
Dates for Counselling
- New registrations for counselling will be open till September 18.
- The last date for document verification is September 19.
- Following the document verification process, the merit list will be released on September 20.
- The seat allocation process is set to take place on September 26.
- Selected candidates must complete the fee payment between September 26 and September 30.
- The Transfer Certificate must be submitted by October 5.
