The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon release the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 counselling schedule soon. Once released, candidates will be able to check the NEET PG counselling 2024 schedul on the official website of MCC- mcc.nic.in.
MCC conducts the NEET PG Counselling for 50% AIQ and 100% Deemd/Central Universities/AFMS-only registration/PG DNB Seats for admissions to MD/ MS/ DIPLOMA/ PG DNB/ MDS courses. MCC conducts NEET PG counselling in four stages viz Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and an online stray vacancy round.
The committee may announce more rounds of counselling depending on the vacancy of seats. The admission process comprises registration, fee payment, choice-filling and locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the college.
NEET PG Counselling 2024: Steps To Register
Candidates who have qualified for NEET PG 2024 will be able to apply for counselling for AIQ domicile-free seats. Once the MCC rolls out the NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule and commence the application process, candidates will be able to register for the counselling process following the simple steps given below
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee – mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the click on the ‘PG Medical’ section.
Step 3: Now click on the link that reads, “NEET PG 2024 counselling registration”
Step 4: Register yourself by entering your NEET PG 2024 roll number, e-mail address etc
Step 5: Fill up the application and upload the required documents
Step 6: Pay the application fee, submit the application form and save it for future reference
Candidates must note that the main counselling Registration will include payment of the Non-refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit (to be refunded only in the account from which payment has been made).
NEET PG Counselling 2024: Reservation Policy
Reservation Policy of the Central Government for the NEET-PGCounselling in All India Quota (AIQ) is as follows:
S.C.- 15%
S.T.- 7.5%
O.B.C.- (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list- 27%
EWS- as per Central Government norms- 10%
PwD- Horizontal Reservation as per NMC norms- 5%
