Candidates must note that the registration process for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2024 will be commenced by Anna University on January 10

The Anna University, Tamil Nadu, is all set to conduct the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2024 for MBA and MCA programmes on March 9, 2024. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can register on the official website of Anna University at tancet.annauniv.edu and apply for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission into MBA and MCA programmes offered by various colleges and institutions across Tamil Nadu.

Candidates must note that the registration process for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2024 will begin on January 10. All candidates will be able to register for the exam on the official website of the university until February 7, 2024. The exam, scheduled to be held on March 9, 2024, will be held in two shifts. TANCET MCA will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon and TANCET MBA will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

TANCET 2024: How To Apply

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of TANCET at tancet.annauniv.edu to apply for the exam for MBA and MCA programmes.

Step 2: Then, search for and click on the registration link available on the webpage.

Step 3: Key in your necessary details, such as your name, email ID, and contact information, to complete the registration form.

Step 4: Log in using the generated credentials and proceed with the application form.

Step 5: Fill out the application by entering the required personal and academic information.

Step 6: Upload the scanned documents and proceed to pay the prescribed application fees.

Step 7: Cross-check the details before submitting the form, and download the submitted application.

Step 8: Take a printout of the same for future reference.

The TANCET 2024 examination is scheduled to be held offline. Talking about the exam pattern, the TANCET question paper will comprise 100 questions; each question carries one mark. Candidates should note that for every incorrect response, a one-third mark will be deducted. Furthermore, the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test will be held for a duration of two hours.

TANCET 2024: Application fee

Candidates falling under the Scheduled Caste (SC) /Special Central Assistance(SCA) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) of Tamil Nadu will have to pay Rs 500 as an application fee at the time of registration for the TANCET MCA and TANCET MBA programmes, whereas other category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000 during registration.
