This Bihar University Provides Free Coaching To Govt Exam Aspirants

Cracking government exams is a tough task as students require immense patience and good coaching. But not everyone can afford the high fees of coaching centres. However, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University in Bhagalpur, Bihar provides free coaching to those preparing for government exams.

The University prepares students for NET, CAT, MAT, CLAT, GATE, JRF, PhD, M Phil and Judicial Services Examination. The preparation is done under the Chief Minister’s Professional Course Guidance and Motivation Scheme. This facility has been provided for students from backward and extremely backward classes. All the coaching is free of cost.

Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University Principal Jawaharlal said that registrations for all these subjects will be open till June 30. This arrangement has been made so that students do not face any problems in preparation. Only students who are permanent residents of Bihar will be eligible for the grant. They should be from backward or extremely backward class and the income of the student and his family should be less than three lakhs per annum.

The participants will be trained at the training centre of the university and will be given tutoring. Coaching will be for 6 months. Candidates will be selected through a written examination and counselling. The selection of the course will be done by the respective centre director. The centre does not have a hostel. On the other hand, after providing free medical and engineering coaching to students of their board, Bihar Board has now extended the initiative to CBSE and ICSE Board students as well. Previously, only students from Bihar Board-affiliated schools could avail themselves of this opportunity. However, the Bihar Board has decided to broaden the scope of this scheme to include students from CBSE and ICSE boards.
