The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has revised the TS Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2024 exam datasheet. As per the new exam schedule, it will now be held on June 5 and 6. It was earlier scheduled to be conducted on June 4 and 5. The council has also revised the TS EAPCET 2024 agriculture and pharmacy exam datasheet, which will be conducted on May 7 and 8 instead of May 12 and 13. The engineering exam dates remain the same which is scheduled to take place on May 9 and 10.
Interested and eligible candidates can check the revised schedules at the respective official websites — icet.tsche.ac.in and eapcet.tsche.ac.in. TS ICET is held every year for admission into MBA and MCA courses of all the universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2023-24. This test is being conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE Hyderabad. Kakatiya University has conducted TS ICET from 2005 to 2022.
The TS ICET is conducted in the computer-based test mode for a 150-minute duration. There are 200 questions from three sections- Analytical Ability consisting of 75 marks, Mathematical Ability of 75 marks, and Communication Ability of 50 marks. Out of the total 200 marks that the exam carries, students are required have to secure at least 25 per cent marks to qualify for the exam.
The registration process for TS ICET 2024 is underway. It began on March 7 and will continue till April 30 without late fees. The application process for TS EAPCET 2024 has also commenced. It began on February 26 and the deadline to submit the applications is April 6.
TS EAPCET will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU Hyderabad) in offline mode. Candidates applying for this exam must have passed or appeared for the final year of the TS Inter examination or Diploma Examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as optional related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology conducted by the board.
