The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for WBJEE counselling 2024. Now, students have until July 21 to complete their counselling registration via the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.
To register, students need to provide their application or roll number along with their academic and personal details. Additionally, they must pay a registration fee of Rs 500. The deadline for both fee payment and completing the choice-filling process is also July 21. The board plans to release the results of round 1 seat allotment on July 23.

To apply for WBJEE Counselling 2024, follow these steps:
Step 1 — Visit the official website of WBJEEB — wbjeeb.nic.in.
Step 2 — Navigate to the “Examination” tab and click on “WBJEE.”
Step 3 — Scroll down to locate the link “Online Registration & Choice Filling for WBJEE
Step 4 — Counselling 2024” under the “Candidate Activity Board” section.
Step 5 — Click on the link. You will be directed to a new page where you need to choose the type of registration and enter your login details.
Step 6 — Once you’ve entered the login details, click on “Sign In.”
Step 7 — Proceed to pay the counselling registration fee as specified.
Step 8 — After payment, fill in your choices of colleges and courses based on your preferences.
Students who have achieved a rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main can also participate in WBJEE counselling. The counselling process includes three rounds: allotment, upgradation, and mop-up.
Students have the opportunity to apply for both the first round and the mop-up round of counselling. During these rounds, colleges and courses will be allocated to students based on their WBJEE ranks, preferences, and the availability of seats.
Students need to pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission between July 23 and July 29. The round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on July 31.
