Shloka Ambani’s Dual Lehenga Looks For Brother-In-Law's Baraat, Jaimala Are Straight Out Of A Dream

Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, got married to industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter, Radhika, in a glittery ceremony in Mumbai on July 12. From Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities to business and sports stalwarts, it was a star-studded affair. The guests were dressed to the nines, showcasing their sartorial prowess in designer lehengas, sarees, sherwanis and suits. While it was indeed a stunning fashion parade, one person who stole the limelight was Shloka Ambani. The elder daughter-in-law of the Ambani clan was decked up in two exquisite lehengas for the baraat and jaimala ceremonies, each from designer label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

For the baraat function, Shloka Ambani was decked in a pastel lehenga set in a soft blush pink shade. The scalloped neckline blouse was doused with aqua-coloured jewel embellishments all over. Floral patterns all over and sparkly tassels at the hem elevated the allure. Shola teamed up the blouse with a voluminous lehenga skirt, embroidered with multiple nature-themed motifs, including peacocks, tigers, deer, trees and leaves in mellow hues of blue, green, orange, yellow and red. Silvery sequins shone like a thousand stars, delivering an oomph quotient. Sholka complemented her OOTD with an equally ornate sheer dupatta in an identical pink colour. Diamond bangles and rings, coupled with a pearl-emerald necklace, jhumkas and maang tika, sealed her accessory outing. According to Shloka’s stylist Diya Mehta, her lehenga was a “homage to Anant’s passion for nature and animals.”

For the jaimala ceremony, Shloka Ambani stayed true to the classic red lehenga. The crimson-hued wonder came in a wide and structured neckline, featuring chequered elements in shining sequin work. Jewel-adorned golden tassels at the hem of the sleeves spelled wonder. The flared skirt was intricately hand-woven with zardosi cutwork involving flower patterns in gold and white. The broad piping was infused with dark green stripes to add a pop of contrast. The equally beautiful dusty gold dupatta that ran over her shoulders had intricate floral embroidery and deft mirrorwork. She rounded off her on-fleek avatar with a teardrop, emerald necklace, bangles, earrings, maang tika and waist jewellery.
