Shevchenko has enjoyed a good week following his goal against England.

New Delhi: The Chelsea-owned man is looking to stay at San Siro rather than return to London.

AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko admits that he wants to stay at the club next season and also thanks the fans for their support.

The hitman returned to San Siro on-loan from Chelsea last summer, but he is yet to make a decision on whether to stay on for longer. 'Sheva' has enjoyed a good week following his goal against England on Wednesday as well as his assist on Filippo Inzaghi's goal against Lecce on Monday night.

The striker is enjoying his time at Milanello and has hinted he wants to stay on for the long haul.

"I am enjoying a good moment and I am really happy. I want to continue along this road and give my best until the end of the season," Shevchenko told the club's official website.

"I hope to stay at Milan for next season, but I still have not made a certain decision on this yet."

Meanwhile, Milan have announced a friendly fixture against a Hungarian all stars XI on April 22. The Rossoneri will fly out to Budapest in three weeks for the clash. The Rossoneri have never played in the Hungarian capital.
