Leonardo to leave Inter for PSG: reports
Inter president has already approached former Chile boss Marcelo Bielsa to take over from Leonardo.

Milan: Leonardo appears to be edging closer to an Inter exit, as L'Equipe report that the Brazilian will be appointed as sporting director at Paris Saint-Germain within the next 48 hours.

On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Inter president Massimo Moratti has already approached former Chile boss Marcelo Bielsa to take over from Leonardo ahead of the 2011-12 campaign, while the former AC Milan coach has reportedly met with PSG representatives in Qatar to discuss his future.

Moratti was quick to deny the rumours about both Bielsa and Leonardo, but L'Equipe are adamant that the Brazilian coach is on his way to the French capital, and that a deal could be concluded shortly.

Leonardo is currently on holiday in his native country, however negotiations between PSG and the coach's agent are expected to be completed in the coming days.

Qatari Investment Group recently acquired a major stake in the Ligue 1 side and are keen to turn the club into a force to be reckoned with in the footballing world. They hope that the presence of someone with the international allure of Leonardo will give the club a boost in the transfer market.

The 41-year-old, who played for PSG in 1996-97, is still fondly remembered in the French city, and is expected to work in a directorial capacity, complementing the duties of current head coach Antoine Kombouare.
