Liverpool: Liverpool beat Swansea 4-3 on Sunday to maintain their Premier League title challenge thanks to two goals each from Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson. Sturridge's first came in the sixth minute, before the striker provided the assist for Henderson to double Liverpool's lead in the 20th from the edge of the area.

Jonjo Shlevey pulled one back for Swansea against his former club three minutes later with a long-range strike before Wilfried Bony headed in Jonathan De Guzman's free kick in the 27th for 2-2.

Sturridge headed in his second to give Liverpool a 3-2 half-time lead, but Swansea levelled soon after the interval when Bony scored a penalty after being fouled by Martin Skrtel. Henderson then scored the winner in the 74th, converting a rebound from his shot.

In another match Newcastle beat Aston Villa 1-0 with a last-minute winner from Loic Remy on Sunday, ending their four-game losing streak at home in the Premier League. The match seemed set to finish goalless when Remy hit the post from inside the penalty area in the 89th minute, after Luuk De Jong pulled the ball back from the byline.

But Remy made no mistake moments later at St. James' Park. De Jong's shot was deflected into his path and he fooled Ron Vlaar with a dummy before firing past United States goalkeeper Brad Guzan for his 12th league goal of the season.

Papiss Cisse shot over when well placed in the first-half for Newcastle, while Gabriel Agbonlahor brought a good save from Tim Krul for Villa's best chance of the game.
