Qatar recently acquired a 70 per cent stake in French top-flight team Paris St Germain.
Doha: Qatar Holding has denied reports it is planning to buy Manchester United, a statement from Qatar's state-run news agency said.
Qatar Holding CEO Ahmed Mohamed al-Sayed told Qatar News Agency that there were no "relevant negotiations , currently nor in the past, in this respect".
He said the media "must abide by accuracy while publishing such news in the future", pointing out that Qatar Holding had previously denied the same report last December.
Qatar recently acquired a 70 per cent stake in French top-flight team Paris St Germain.
The Gulf state will host the 2022 World Cup.
