Ronaldo pulled off a unique style of celebration after scoring in a Saudi Pro League game against Al-Ettifaq.

Cristiano Ronaldo pulled off a three-finger celebration after scoring for Al-Nassr in a Saudi Pro League game against Al-Ettifaq on September 20.

Al-Nassr were awarded a penalty in the 33rd minute, with Ronaldo converting the spot kick to break the deadlock, leading the Portuguese legend to perform his iconic “Siuuu” celebration after scoring the goal.

He then smilingly made a hand gesture directed at the stands where his son Cristiano Jr. was seated. Ronaldo held up three fingers and the unique style of celebration left fans scratching their heads.

According to ESPN, with the three-finger gesture, Cristiano Ronaldo was actually referring to the hat-trick that he and his son jointly scored for Al-Nassr on that day.

Before attending his father’s game against Al-Ettifaq, Cristiano Jr. had struck a brace for the Al-Nassr U-15 team, inspiring a 4-1 victory over Al Qadsiah. Ronaldo dedicated his goal to the 14-year-old, who has made his dad proud on many occasions during his emerging youth career.

Al-Nassr ended up picking up a 3-0 victory over Al-Etiifaq. After Ronaldo’s opening goal, Salem Al-Najdi and Anderson Talisca increased the lead in the second half. The 39-year-old was elated after securing three points from the away fixture. He shared some glimpses of the game on X (formerly Twitter). The post read, “Great team effort! Big win tonight—this one’s for the fans.”

Despite the dominant win, Al-Nassr remain four points behind Al-Hilal, who occupy the top spot in the Saudi Pro League standings. Al-Nassr have drawn two of their four league matches this season while Al-Hilal have won all of their games. Under their new coach Stefano Piolo, Al-Nassr will look to continue the winning momentum in the next couple of games and reduce the points gap as much as possible.

Al-Nassr will now have to shift their focus to the new season of the King Cup of Champions. They will kick off the competition with a match against Al-Hazm. The King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraydah is scheduled to host the contest tonight. Al-Nassr had reached the final of the tournament last season but ultimately lost to Al-Hilal in the penalty shootout.
