Searching Watch History
Go to https://www.youtube.com/feed/history in a web browser. If you aren't already logged into your YouTube account, enter your login information now. On mobile, open the YouTube app and tap You at the bottom-right corner. Then, tap View all next to History.
Click Manage all history. This will be on the right side. On mobile, you'll need to tap ⋮ first. You'll be redirected to your Google activity settings.
Click the calendar icon. This will be underneath the Auto-delete feature, next to a magnifying glass.
Enter a date (MM/DD/YYYY). Currently, you can only filter your watch history with an older than date. This means you can see your history from that specified date and everything before then.
Click Apply. This will set your date filter. The results will load in list-format with the most recent date first. If you want to delete a video from your search history, click the X on the right of the video.
Using Google Search
Go to https://www.google.com/ in a web browser. You can use a desktop or mobile browser.
Type site:youtube.com into the search bar. This is called a search operator; it'll help narrow down your search results with Google. Don't send the search just yet—you still need to add what videos you're looking for.
Type a YouTube username or topic and press ↵ Enter. There should be a space between the site: search operator and your username or topic. For example, this could look like site:youtube.com markiplier. The search results will load.
Click All filters. This is the drop-down menu next to Tools.
Select Videos. This will filter the results to include videos only.
Click Tools. This will expand the filter options.
Click Any time and select Custom range…. You can also select from the preset time filters in the list.
Set the date range. Use the From and To box to specify the date range for the videos. You can enter the date manually (D-M-YYY) or use the calendar on the right side of the menu. For example, to find videos from January 1, 2023 to March 20, 2023, you would enter the date range: From: 1/1/2023 To: 3/20/2023
Click Go. This will load the videos based on the date range.
Searching on YouTube
Go to https://youtube.com or open the YouTube app. You can use your computer (Windows or Mac) or your iPhone, iPad, or Android to search YouTube; however, the filters aren't as customizable as using Google.
Enter your search in the search bar. Click the magnifying glass to send your search, or press Enter. If you're using the mobile app, tap the magnifying glass in the top-right corner to enter your search.
Click Filters. You can find this below the search bar, on the right side. On mobile, tap ⋮ and then Search filters.
Select an "Upload Date" option. For both the website on your computer and the mobile app, you can either see results that have been uploaded within the past hour, today, this week, this month, or this year. Alternatively, you can select Upload date under "Sort By" to display videos in the order they were uploaded.
