3 Simple Ways to Disable Profile Views on TikTok

Turning Off in Settings

Open your TikTok profile. To do this, open the app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad, and then tap on the Profile button in the bottom-right corner of the page.

Tap the ☰ button in the upper-right corner. This will open a menu at the bottom of the screen with some options.

Tap Settings and privacy. It's the bottom option in the menu, and it has an icon of a gear.

Tap Privacy. It's in the top section (with the "Account") header, and it has an icon of a lock.

Scroll down and tap Profile views. It's near the bottom of the menu, and the option has an icon of two footprints.

Toggle off Profile view history. Once profile view history is disabled, others won't be able to see if you viewed their profile, and you won't be able to see who has viewed your profile. If you have fewer than 5000 followers on TikTok, you can also turn off post view history.

Turning Off in Inbox

Open your TikTok inbox. To do this, open the app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad, and tap the Inbox button at the bottom of the screen.

Tap Activity. It's near the top of your inbox, and it has a pink icon of a bell.

Tap on a notification that someone viewed your profile. You may have to scroll through your activity feed to find one of these notifications. This will take you to the Profile views page.

Tap the gear button in the upper-right corner. This will open a menu at the bottom of the screen.

Toggle off Profile view history. Once profile view history is disabled, others won't be able to see if you viewed their profile, and you won't be able to see who has viewed your profile.

Turning Off in Your Profile
