This article will show you how to connect to WiFi in Windows 7.
Click the WiFi icon.
This is located in the notification area. The notification area is usually at the bottom-right corner of your screen on the taskbar.
Select a network to connect to.
Click the name of a wireless network. All of the networks in-range will appear here.
Click the "Connect" button.
This connects you to the network. If a password is not required to join, you'll be connected instantly.
Enter the network's password if prompted.
Type the Wi-Fi password to connect. Some networks allow you to connect by pressing a button on the router. If this is the case, a message explaining this will show in the connection box.
Click "OK" to initiate the connection.
Once you enter the password or press the router button, click OK to connect. Once you're connected, you can browse the web.
