How to Find and Play Google's Dinosaur Game
If you're stuck without connection to the internet on your device or are simply looking for a boredom buster, try playing Google's "no internet" dinosaur game. This game allows you to play as a T-rex to hop over and duck under obstacles and can prove to be quite entertaining. If you're interested in trying this game, this wikiHow will tell you how to find and play it on your device.
Steps

Finding the Game

Disconnect your internet access. Turn off your device's WiFi or other internet connection, if it is not off already, in order for the game to be played. If you are on Windows, click the WiFi button and press disconnect to your local WiFi source. The WiFi will show a little yellow sun on it, which means that you are disconnected.

Open your Chrome browser. You can use an existing tab or create a new tab to play the game, though note that if you choose to use an existing tab, the tab's information will be lost until you reconnect your device to the internet.

Type a word into the search bar if the game has not appeared. Then, press Enter. The screen will read "No internet" as the game appears.

Press the space bar to start playing. The dinosaur appearing on your screen will begin moving across a desert landscape. This is how the game begins.

Playing the Game

Understand the game's controls. To jump, you can press the space bar, up arrow, or click the screen. On mobile, you may also tap the screen to jump. Pressing the down arrow will make the dinosaur duck. Use these controls to play the game. You can also control how high a jump will be by holding the key down for a longer amount of time. Quick clicks will result in low jumps, and longer clicks will result in high jumps.

Jump over cacti. Once the game starts, the dinosaur will start to run in place as the background moves with obstacles you need to maneuver around. The first obstacle to be encountered is the cactus. Cacti may vary from small to large and may be one cactus or come in clustered groups. Use the space bar, up arrow, or click to jump over cacti.

Dodge pterodactyls. The dinosaur will begin coming across pterodactyls no later than when you reach 500 points in the game. Pterodactyls fly at different heights - some are flying against the ground, some are just high enough to run into the dinosaur's head, and some are so high as to fly right above and past the dinosaur. Use the appropriate control to dodge these. Click the up arrow or space bar to jump over a pterodactyl of any height. The lowest pterodactyls must be jumped over, while the other pterodactyls may be passed using other keys. Press the down arrow to duck under higher pterodactyls. Though pterodactyls of both the medium and high flight patterns can be jumped over, they can also be ducked under by using this key. Avoid jumping over the highest pterodactyls. Though it is possible to successfully jump over a high pterodactyl, this is a risky move, especially if your click is fast-paced, as the dinosaur's jump may not always be high enough to jump entirely over it. Additionally, these pterodactyls are high enough to simply walk under without pressing any key, so it is not necessary to duck under them, either.

Play during the night. As soon as you reach 700 points, the game will switch from day to night (or vice versa, if your device is on dark mode). While the earlier gameplay has had a white background and black shapes, gameplay during the night has a black background and white shapes. You will remain in the night until you reach the end of a 200-point interval, at 900 points, when the game will switch back to day. This will occur every 700 points; once you reach 1400 points, for example, the game will switch to night mode and stay in it until you have earned 200 more points, reaching 1600 points total.

Continue playing until you hit an obstacle. Once you run into an obstacle, your point count ceases to increase, and you will receive a "game over" message. Google will save your high score continuously for your own records, unless you are playing on a private tab. If you wish to keep playing, simply click the space bar again to restart the game.
