How to Renew Membership on the Costco App

Using an Android Phone or Tablet

Open the Costco Wholesale app. It has an icon with a red "C". Tap the icon on your home screen, or apps menu to open the Costco app. The Costco app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store on Android devices. If you are not signed in to the Costco app automatically, tap the icon that resembles a person in the upper-right corner. Then enter your email address and password in the blank fields and tap the blue button that says Sign In.

Tap ☰. It's the icon with three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner. This displays the menu.

Scroll down and tap Membership Options. It's the last option under "Membership" in the menu. It's next to an icon that resembles a stack of cards.

Tap Renew Now. It's the blue button at the top fo the Membership Options menu. If you do not have a membership, tap one of the options in the Membership menu to purchase a Costco membership. You can purchase a Costco Gold Star ($60 per year). Gold Star Executive ($120 per year), Business ($60 per year), or Business Executive ($120 per year) membership. You can only renew your membership online within 90 days before or after your membership expiration date. If prompted, enter your membership number and tap Verify to verify your membership.

Complete the checkout. Verify your credit card number, address and other membership information and complete the checkout process to charge your credit card and renew your membership for another year.

Using an iPhone or iPad

Open the Costco Wholesale app. It has an icon with a red "C". Tap Membership Options. It's in the menu next to an icon that resembles a stack of cards.
