Use a water-based makeup remover to remove the eyeliner.
Wet a cotton swab with makeup remover and run it along your lash line. Water-based makeup removers, such as micellar water, break up magnetic eyeliner with ease and are gentle on the delicate skin around your eyes. Using your thumb and pointer finger, remove your lashes by grabbing the lashes on the outer corner of your eye, pulling up, and gently peeling them off. Then, soak the tip of a cotton swab with the makeup remover and gently pat it into your eyeliner. Roll or twist the cotton swab over the eyeliner and watch as it disappears. If you have any leftover eyeliner, just grab a new cotton swab and gently dab over it across your lash line. If your eyeliner is really stubborn, moisten a cotton swab with olive oil or castor oil and gently roll it across your lash line. Do not get the oil on the magnetic lashes, as it can damage the magnets.
Scrape off any dried eyeliner that’s left on your magnetic lashes.
Use your fingernails to remove eyeliner buildup on your lashes. Make sure to clean your eyelashes after each use so you can wear them over and over again! Just wash your hands so they’re nice and clean. Then, use your fingernail to rub off any eyeliner that’s dried onto the eyelash band and magnets.
Clean off your magnetic lashes with makeup remover.
Wipe the lashes with a cotton swab and water-based makeup remover. Take a cotton swab and moisten the tip with a makeup remover like micellar water. Put the lashes on your pointer finger and hold them in place with your thumb. Then, gently swipe and dab the cotton swab across the base of the lashes to remove any eyeliner and dirt. Unlike water-based removers, oils and oil-based makeup removers can leave residue on your lashes, which might weaken the magnets.
Store your magnetic lashes in their original packaging.
Brush out the lashes and place them back in the case you got them in. Your eyelashes might be slightly wet after cleaning them with the makeup remover, so let them dry for 1 to 2 minutes. Then, to maintain their shape and prevent any clumping, brush the lashes out with an eyelash comb. When you’re done, simply place them back into the packaging they came in so they stay clean and dust-free. If you don’t have the lashes’ original box anymore, store them in a craft bead organizer or a pill box.
