Why does Microsoft Roblox keep crashing?
Crashes can be caused by software bugs or outdated drivers. In some cases, your settings may also cause the game to freeze. Since Roblox runs from the Microsoft Store on Windows, it may also be an issue with the store app itself.
Troubleshooting Roblox on Windows
Reset Roblox. This can repair the game if it isn't working correctly. Do the following: Open Settings. Click Apps. Click Apps & Features. Click Roblox. Click Advanced Options. Click Reset. Restart your computer.
Log out and log back in. If you're logged into the Microsoft Store, click your icon in the top toolbar to log out. Wait a few seconds, and then enter your information to log in again.
Check for Roblox updates. If you're running an older version, it may crash due to incompatibility. Open the Microsoft Store. Click Library. Click Update next to Roblox.
Reinstall Roblox. Open the Start menu, right-click Roblox, and then select Uninstall to completely uninstall Roblox. Then, download Roblox from the Microsoft Store again.
Disable Memory Integrity. This feature may cause performance issues. It may be turned on by default. To turn it off, do the following: Type "Windows Security" into the Start menu. Click Windows Security. Click Device Security. Click Core isolation details. Toggle off Memory integrity.
Check your graphics drivers. If you have an outdated graphics card driver, Roblox may crash. To check for updates, do the following: Type "device manager" into the Start menu. Click Device Manager. Expand Display adapters. Right-click your graphics card. Click Update driver.
Use the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter. This feature can scan your device for specific problems. Open Settings. Click Update & Security. Click Troubleshoot. Click Additional troubleshooters. Scroll down and click Windows Store Apps. Click Run the troubleshooter.
Reset the Microsoft Store. This will also reset the cache. You'll just need the Run dialog box. Press Windows + R. Type wsreset.exe. Click OK or press Enter.
Check for Windows updates. If you don't have automatic updates enabled, you'll need to check manually. Type "update" into the Start menu. Click Check for updates. Click Check for updates again.
