Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated film Guntur Kaaram is all set for its release at the cinemas on January 12, 2024. Directed by Trivikram Srinivasan, the film features actresses Sreeleela and Meenaakshi Chaudhary in pivotal roles. Now, the makers amped up the fervour around the film, by unveiling the lyrical video of a track. The track is titled Oh My Baby and has hit the right chords as well. Aditya Music India uploaded the lyrical video on December 13, which has garnered more than 24,00,000 views till now. Thaman S composed the melodious music and Shilpa Rao provided the vocals for this song. Ramajogayya Sastry has penned the lyrics. The lyrical video also shows some behind-the-scenes of Oh My Baby, in which the cast and crew are seen to have a good time together.
Social media users appreciated the track and praised the lyrics, music, and vocals as well. One of the users wrote, “Thaman’s ability to evoke a range of emotions through his music is truly commendable." Another applauded the use of guitar chords in the track.
Earlier, the makers dropped the first single of the film titled Dum Masala on November 7. The song went viral within days of its release. Thaman has composed this energetic track as well. He has also provided the vocals along with Sanjith Hegde. Ramajogayya Sastry wrote the lyrics of this song as well. Trivikram Srinivas added a rap verse to the track.
The release of Guntur Kaaram will coincide with Sankranthi festivities. The film also features Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. S Radha Krishna has produced the film under the banner of Haarika and Hassine Creations.
As per earlier reports, the makers of Guntur Kaaram have commenced shooting for its third song at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Initially, the team planned to shoot the third song in Kerala. The team, however, recently changed its plans due to unfavourable conditions. Reportedly, the shooting for the song started on December 10.
Mahesh Babu last acted in the 2022 Telugu-language action drama Sarkaru Vaari Paata. This film became the third-highest-grossing Telugu film despite mixed reviews.
