Jr NTR-starrer Devara To Have Another Actress Besides Janhvi Kapoor?

South star Jr NTR is now busy with his upcoming pan-India film Devara, which was tentatively titled NTR 30. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, is set against the backdrop of a fishing town. Jr NTR will be seen in a dual role. He will be reportedly essaying the role of father and son. The film also features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist and Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady. Fans are excited about the film being released in two parts. Now, there is a rumour which is doing the rounds.

The film will reportedly have another female actress. The unclaimed sources reported that the other actress will have a small role in Devara’s first part and will have a pivotal role in the second part of the film. Devara’s team is currently hunting for the actress to cast in the role, as per reports. The role will be supposedly given to a prominent face of the film industry.

Earlier this month, Koratala Siva shared an update with fans about Devara’s release date and the roadmap that the film will be taking. The filmmaker said that the movie is set in the backdrop of coastal India and the canvas is too big. When they started shooting the film, it became bigger and every character in the film has gained weight. “They need to be explored and established in-depth and in detail, which we can’t justify in one part. So we decided to tell this big story in two parts. The story won’t change in shape but will thrive in scale. So I am here to share the news that one of the biggest canvases ever of Devara will be done in two parts. And, April 5 is just the beginning,” he said in the video.

After the first schedule of the film wrapped, News18 Showsha reported that Devara’s second schedule will begin on October 24, which also marked Dussehra. Janhvi Kapoor is marking her debut in the Telugu film industry with Devara. She will be busy shooting the film, from October to January.
