Know The Famous Producer Who Bagged Nizam Distribution Rights Of Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram

Mahesh Babu has been the talk of Tinsel Town for his much-anticipated film Guntur Kaaram, written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The shooting of Guntur Kaaram is underway and it will be released on January 12, 2024. Now, another report related to the film has made it into the public domain. Dil Raju, one of the leading producers in Telugu cinema, has acquired the distribution rights of this film in Nizam territory.

Raju has bought these rights for Rs 45 crore, as per reports. The Nizam territory is quite integral to the Telugu film industry. According to reports, more than 50 per cent of the Telugu film industry’s revenue is generated from Nizam.

Some of the social media users will surely be surprised by this sudden change of plans by Guntur Kaaram’s production house, Sithara Entertainments. Initially, there were speculations that Sithara Entertainments was not inclined to grant distribution rights of Guntur Kaaram to Dil Raju.

According to reports, he already submitted a proposal to bid for the film’s Nizam rights, despite Sithara Entertainment’s apprehensions. There were reports that he made an offer of Rs 42 crore for the Guntur Kaaram’s Nizam distribution rights. This significant sum demonstrates the producer’s immense faith and confidence in collaborating with Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram.

Now, according to reports, director Srinivas is also planning to include an item song in the film. The reports of the item song come as a surprise, as Trivikram’s earlier films never had one. His film largely focuses on family audiences. This time, however, speculations are rife that Srinivas is venturing into making a full-fledged mass commercial film.

He is likely to rope in a popular actress on board for dancing the item song in Guntur Kaaram. His fans are expecting an official confirmation of this update. Earlier this month, Mahesh Babu reportedly shot a solo song at an aluminium factory, and at his residence.

Actresses Sreeleela and Meenakshii Chaudhary were also expected to join this schedule. Notably, Sreeleela was roped in to play the female protagonist in the film, after Pooja Hegde withdrew from the project. Meenakshi will play a pivotal role in the film.
