Lavanya Tripathi and Varun Tej celebrated Vinayaka Chavithi aka Ganesh Chaturthi together this year. The couple, who is set to get married soon, shared a photo in which Lavanya and Varun were seen posing with Varun’s parents, Naga Babu Konidela and his wife Padmaja Konidela. In the photo, Lavanya was seen wearing a traditional blue and yellow saree while Varun dressed in a green short kurta and a pair of white pyjamas. Varun’s sister Niharika Konidela was missing from the festivities.
Sharing the photo, Varun and Lavanya wrote, “Happy Vinayaka chavithi! Wishing you all great health & prosperity. ♥️ Missing you @niharikakonidela ????????????.” Niharika seems to be out of the country. Last week, she shared photos from the US, revealing she was visiting the Mulholland Drive Hollywood in Los Angeles.
It is reported that Varun and Lavanya are planning a destination wedding in November. The couple, who got engaged in June this year, is said to be a destination wedding set against the picturesque backdrop of Italy. Varun, in an interview, said that the wedding venue wasn’t locked yet.
Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s love story blossomed on the sets of their first film together, Mister. Speaking about their relationship, Varun shared that their friendship gradually transformed into love. Despite being a private person, Varun’s parents were aware of their bond, which remained under wraps until they officially announced their engagement.
In an interview, Varun revealed it was he who approached Lavanya, saying that he told Lavanya that it was time to take their relationship to the next level and she readily agreed. He added that Lavanya’s calm and composed nature is what he likes about her the best and also went on to say that it was she who kept their relationship stable.
