8th leg of Indiramma Baata begins

Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will kick start the eighth leg of Indiramma Baata from October 9 to 11 in Prakasm district.

According to officials, he will reach Vodarevu beach at 9.45 am to interact with fishermen, and participate in the sagara meenotsavam - ranching of fish and prawn seed into the sea in consonance with the concept of bio-diversity from 9.45-10.30 am.

He will later visit Konijeti Chenethapuri, Nayunipalli to interact with weavers, housing beneficiaries and to distribute credit cards to weavers from 10.45 to 11.30 am. Kiran Kumar Reddy will have his night stay at Addanki boys residential hostel.

The chief minister has so far completed Indiramma Baata in seven districts and interacted with the locals.
