Pune: A day after Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted outside their hotel in Pune, the leading actor of the film A Mighty Heart, Dan Futterman, landed in the city on Saturday.
Futterman will be playing Daniel Pearl, the American journalist who was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan.
The actor is an American television star who also wrote the screenplay of the film Capote starring Oscar-winner Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
Like the star couple, Futterman was also thronged by the media at Le Meridien where Angelina and Pitt are staying.
The couple are in the city to shoot A Mighty Heart, a film on the life of journalist Daniel Pearl.
Press photographers, journalists and newscamera crews have been parked outside their hotel ever since the couple landed in the city.
On Saturday, the personal security officer of the Hollywood couple manhandled a UK reporter outside the hotel.
