Aamir Khan to inaugurate MP's first women's assistance centre

Actor Aamir Khan will inaugurate Madhya Pradesh's first Medha Mahila Seva Kendra to provide medical, legal and psychological assistance to harrassed women on June 16.

The state government also roped in actress Madhuri Dixit Nene as brand ambassador for MP's ambitious 'Mamata Abhiyan', which is a maternal and child health, vaccination and family welfare programme, a press release issued by the state government said in Bhopal on Friday.

Madhuri has given her consent for becoming the brand ambassador of the Mamata Abhiyan, it said. The actress will take part in a programme organised by UNICEF in Bhopal on the issue, on June 26, the release said.
