Union Sports Minister Mani Shanker Aiyar is satisfied over preparations for Commonwealth Games 2010.

Patiala: Union Sports Minister Mani Shanker Aiyer on Thursday expressed his satisfaction over the ongoing preparations for the Commonwealth Games 2010 and said world class facilities would be arranged for the sports event.

Aiyar, who was here to preside a seminar on Youth Clubs, refuted reports that the Commonwealth Federation organisers were unhappy with the arrangements. He said by March 2007 all work for putting up infrastructure would be undertaken after issuing tenders.

He said laboratory for the dope testing in New Delhi was likely to get accreditation from World Anti Dope Agency (WADA).

Mr Aiyar said while the equipment has been purchased, other facilities were being put in place by the end of October.
