New Delhi: Security agencies have sent an alert to police in four border districts of Rajasthan's Bikaner division over reports of 15 terrorists infiltrating into the area from Pakistan.
The Border Security Force (BSF) has tightened the security along the Indo-Pak border in Jaisalmer and Barmer following the alert.
The report comes even as the BSF and Pakistan Rangers are expected to hold a key sector commander-level flag meeting to defuse tension along the Indo-Pak border due to repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu.
"A sector commander (DIG-Brigade commander) level flag meeting will be held between BSF and Pak Rangers at Octerio Border Out Post in Suchetgarh forward belt of RS Pura along the International Border", PRO BSF Vinood Yadav said.
This will be the third flag meeting to discuss ceasefire violations. BSF troops had on Thursday held a commandant-level flag-meeting with Rangers along the International Border in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir impressing upon each other to respect ceasefire.
