The Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishath (KSSP) will organise an alternative development meet at the Government Model Girls High School here on Saturday in protest against the ‘Emerging Kerala’ meet.
The KSSP has come up with the event, termed as ‘People’s Alternative for Emerging Kerala’, as a novel way to protest against the three-day investors meet.
A ‘Janakeeya Kootayma’ will be held as part of the alternative meet, which will be inaugurated by Economist Prabhat Patnaik. Environmentalist-cum-writer Sugathakumari, C P Narayanan MP and K Radhakrishnan MLA will take part in the kootayma, which will have various sessions of environmentalists, politicians and social activists.
